The project was to design a summer pavilion in Albury-Wodonga using materials found in pencils (from a previous assignment). Graphite has some sound absorbing properties (related to its particle absorbing properties) which, combined with its eroding properties, create an ephemeral sensory experience which washes away with the rain.
